The railway cat ! Skimble takes care of everything regarding the train and its passengers. He controls if everyone paid the travel ticket, if everything is comfortable, if passengers have all that they need. Without him, the train can't leave the station ! But he enjoys making a little break to have a sleep or a drink.
Skimble is a kind of Uncle for the tribe. When Macavity is around, he pays attention to the kittens and when Grizabella approached, he stops the kittens who try to touch her.
Skimbleshanks' costume is light brown/yellow/orange (depending on the productions) with black and red stripes. His wig is light brown with brown and/or black stripes. His make-up is yellow, with touches of brown and black. He wears grey legwarmers with brown and black stripes (sometimes yellow) and grey and white handwarmers with black patches on the elbow. During his song, he wears a black vest.
