Extravagant and extrovert cat, Tugger is very seducing and loves to flirt with females. He acts like a sort of 'Elvis-cat'. Sexy, all queens love him, particularly Etcetera, and are fascinated by his hips movements. Very funny, he can however be very annoying : for example he bounces in the middle of the show organized for Old Deuteronomy, annoying Munkustrap.
But for his human, he is "a terrible bore". When they offer him something, he wants the opposite and when he finally gets it, he doesn't want it anymore !
During his song, Tugger usually goes in the auditorium to dance with a woman.
Rum Tum Tugger's costume is white and, depending on the productions, more or less yellow spots (sometimes leopard like). On his chest, his costume looks like a vest with a fluffy neck. His tail is hanging on it. His wig is larger than those from the rest of the tribe and is ocre - yellow. His black shoes are no dance shoes but look more like human shoes. His collar has long spikes and a medal with a big "R". He also wears a metallic belt. He is probably the less cat looking character.
His make-up is quit simple with yellow and light-brown colours around his lips and eyes and black lines.
