Plato is most of the time portrayed as an adult tom but sometimes as a younger cat (but never as a kitten). Tall and discreet, he has no solo line and is a chorus cat. His performer also plays Macavity.
Plato first appeared on Broadway, taking the London Admetus part. He can be seen in most productions.
Plato's costume is most of the time black and grey. His leg- and handwarmers are also black and grey. His make-up is made of : grey or white around the lips, going up to his nose and forehead, the rest of the face beeing grey and brown.
In some London bases productions there is Plato and not Admetus, his costume is quit identical to the typical Admetus costume, he might just be a little bit darker with more black, grey and brown.
