The Napoleon of Crime. Macavity is a criminal that the police has never caught. When the policemen arrive on the crime scene, Macavity is no longer there ! A lot of cats work for him, like Mungojerrie and Griddlebone. Mysterious cat moving like a snake, he broke all human laws and even the law of gravity !
During the night of the Jellicle Ball he kidnaps Old Deuteronomy. Then he tries to join the tribe disguised as Old Deuteronomy, in order to kidnap Demeter. But the queen can't be fooled and Macavity is recognized : Munkustrap and Alonzo fight with him and, hurted, he gets in escaping the junkyard in an electric thunder and blinding light.
Macavity's costume is similar in all productions. It is white and orange with some touches of black. The limit between white and orange, instead of being straight, has form of a flash of lighting. His orange, white and black wig is much larger than other wigs. His gloves, made of the same colours that his costume, have long claws.
On his costume, there are places with bundles of hairs, giving his fur a neglected aspect. His make-up, orange, black and white, give him a scary look.
