The Terror of the Thames. This legendary cat was a pirate fighter who caused terror everywhere he passed with his crew. He hated Siamese cats because one of them had cut him an ear. During a romantic night with Griddlebone, he was attacked by surprise by Genghis and his troop. After a battle with sabre and sword, Genghis managed to kill Growltiger, and it gave place to festivities in all the country.
Asparagus played Growltiger as he was young and he often dreams of those 'moments of History'.
Growltiger's costume is worn by the Gus performer during Gus song but cannot be seen as it is hidden under his blanket. Growltiger wears black trouses, high boots with red, yellow, white and black stripes, a jacket with those same colours. His jacket makes him a big belly and wide shoulders. A sword is hanging on his belt and one of his eye is covered as if it had been burst.
