George is not very well known because he only appeared in London, Helsinki and Olso. He disappeared from the London production in 2000, when the artist who had portrayed him during 11 years left the cast.
I never saw him on stage so information I get about him come from The Shrine to George and Victor : at the beginning of the shows, George was singing Old Deuteronomy with Munkustrap and Rum Tum Tugger, but became later a chorus cat.
He used to play one of the pirates in Growltiger's Last Stand and was sometimes, depending on the years, dancing the "mating dance" with Victoria or playing Rumpus Cat.
George's costume was white/grey with brown and black striped. His wig was black, white and brown. His left eye was painted in black and the right eye in brown, the middle of his face being white. In the video, the character named Admetus looks a lot like George.
