The Siamese are characters from Growltiger's Last Stand and Genghis is their chief. These characters only appear during that song and they are played by cast members, Genghis beeing usually played by the Coricopat performer.
The Siamese are the 'evil characters' of the play. They attack Growltiger when he's flirting with Griddlebone. One Siamese had in the past cut Growltiger's ears, and this time, Genghis kills Growltiger after a sword fight.
At the end of the song, when the Gus/Growltiger performer wears back his Gus costume, Genghis bows in front of him under a mysterious light before disappearing in the darkness.
Siamese costumes can be worn above the classical cats costumes. They are made of a golden brown large unitard, a Siamese cat mask, an asian hat, a sort of tunic with blue/green cats eyes (lightning up in some productions), and weapons (sabre for Genghis, three-pronged fork for the other Siamese).
