The Theatre Cat, also named Gus. Young he was a great star but now he is old and tired. Weak and trembling, he loves to tell about his past life. His greatest creation was Firefrorefiddle.
During this night, he dreams of the time he played Growltiger. He is very sad when he realizes that this is only a dream and that he won't ever be able to play this role again.
Gus' wig is generally brown and ochre. He wears a big gray patched blanket with a red scarf. This costume is aimed to hide Growltiger's unitard that the performer is wearing for the next part of his song. His make-up is white, black, with a little bit of brown, and wrinkles are drawn on his face to make him look old and sad.
