Grizabella left the Jellicle tribe long time ago, when she was young and beautiful, in order to visit the outside world. Now she regrets it and would like to join back the tribe, but the Jellicles refuse to accept her and to forgive her behaviour. She explains this in sad solo songs, like the famous Memory.
Thanks to Jemima and Victoria, the Jellicles finally understand who she really is and accept her back with them. She is chosen by Old Deuteronomy to be reborn to a new Jellicle life and to go up to the Heaviside Layer.
Grizabella wears a sort of old and torn gray coat. She wears high heel gray shoes with some touches of furr. Her make-up is white and gray, and make her look old and tired. Her red lipstick and black eye powder are poured. Her wig is the only one made of long hair, they are curled and decorated with black ribbons.
