Demeter is the young queen singing during Macavity and Grizabella the Glamour Cat, sometimes considered as Bombalurina's sister. Her opinion on Grizabella is uncertain : she seems to wish to touch her, but doesn't dare, influenced by the other Jellicles. Very close to Munkustrap in some productions, they can be considered as a couple.
Demeter's costume is of a gold yellow with black striped and in some productions some orange touchs. She wears long gloves. Her wig are of the same colours that her costume, with also an oranged brown. In USA, Hamburg and Stuttgart, her wig doesn't / didn't have the same shape that the others : it has(d) more spikes and less visible ears. Her make-up has the same colors that her costume. Her legwarmed are grey and black.
