Juanita Yazbek :

After matriculating from Pretoria Art, Music and Ballet School, Juanita was awarded a bursary to further her training at the 
Royal Ballet School in London. On her return, she joined CAPAb as a principal dancer, taking the leads in all the great 
ballets including : Swan Lake, Romeo and Juliet, Giselle, Sleeping Beauty and Carmen. She was the recipient of several awards
 during this time and once again left South Africa to teach and dance abroad in Wales, Hawaii, Las Vegas and Seattle. On her 
return to South Africa, Juanita was the first South African to successfully complete the internationally recognised RAD 
Professional Dancers Teaching Course. This was followed by a teaching post at the UCT (University of Cape Town) School of 
Dance. She has also formed the company, Dance Dynamics, which produces and choreographs shows for the corporate and 
theatrical world.
