Emma began her dance training at the age of five with Barbara Lynch Dance Studio in Victoria and pursued her classical training with Carol Trenfield and Leeane Rutherford. Emma obtained her VCE which included various dance styles and drama at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School. Emma has performed in operas, Faust and Lohengrin with the Victorian State Opera and in 1992 and 1994 she performed with the Australian Ballet in their production of Nutcracker. In 1997 and 1998 Emma was awarded the Sir Robert Helpmann Ballet Scholarship in South Australia. She has also appeared in various television productions and also in a number of television films and commercials. From 1999-2001 Emma played Victoria the White cat in a touring production of Cats, which played over 44 regional centres of Australia in a Big Top. After finishing in Cats, Emma appeared in The Production Company’s Mack and Mabel at the Victoria Arts Centre. Recently Emma has been appearing in children’s theatrical productions including Winnie the Pooh, Rugrats and Dorothy the Dinosaur.
