After graduating from the University of Witwatersrand with a BA (Law) degree, Anitra studied 
Musical Theatre at the Technikon, Pretoria. He professional credits range from Buddy! The 
Buddy Holly Story, to Beyond Belief – a Sun City Extravaganza (sorry guys – not topless!). 
While choreographing productions such as Vlerkdans and the KKNK award-winning 
Struisvoglestories, Anitra has been an adoring girl in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor 
Dreamcoat, one half of a Siamese monster in Brolloks and Bittergall; a vulture in Spook van 
Donkergat and an Ama-gogga-gogga in the panto, Cinders and her Fella, and she is now 
absolutely ecstatic to be a kitten in Cats.
